After DavDrive has been started on the Android device IP and Port number are displayed.
These are important for the operating system specific client setup.
Max OS X has WebDAV support built in, so no additional client installaion is required.
1. Click the Go menu and select Connect to Server....

2. Enter the URL as displayed on the display of your phone.
3. Enter the user and password and press the
Connect button.

/sdcard should be displayed in the Finder.
Connecting to DavDrive on Ubuntu is fairly simple, because Ubuntu supports WebDAV out of the box.
1. Click the Places menu and select Connect to Server....

2. Select
WebDAV (HTTP) from the Service type dropdown and enter the server IP and port as displayed on your Androd device. Press the
Connect button.
3. Enter the user and password and press the
Ok button.

Connecting to DavDrive Lite from Windows is a little bit more complicated than on the other operating systems. To make sure DavDrive Lite is working with Windows the free BitKinex WebDAV client should be installed.
1. Download and install the BitKinex client from
www.bitkinex.com.
2. Start BitKinex...
3. Select
BitKinex ⇒ Http/WebDAV right click and select
New ⇒ Http/WebDAV.
4. Select a name for the connection.
5. Right click the newly created connection and select
Properties.
6. Insert the IP number and port as shown in the screenshot.
Enter the user and password and press the
Ok button.
The standard user is
user and the standard password is
davdrive.
7. Now double click the connection icon.
7. BitKinex will open the browser window and display the content of your phone's
/sdcard.
Note
To make sure that files are transfered correctly select
binary form the
Data Source ⇒ Transfer Mode menu.
Windows 7 Performance
Please ensure that you perform the following settings to increase Windows performance:
- In Internet Explorer, open the Tools menu, then click Internet Options.
Select the Connections tab.
- Select the Connections tab.
- Click the LAN Settings button.
- Uncheck the "Automatically detect settings" box.
- Click OK until all dialogues are closed.
If the full version of DavDrive is used the device can be mapped as network drive on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
1. Open the Windows Explorer and choose Map Network Drive... from the Tools menu.

2. Specify the
Folder as visible on your Android device.
3. Enter the user and password and press the
OK button.

/sdcard should be displayed in the Windows Explorer.
